A useful Lotte World ticket matches your arrival time, ride priorities and energy. This guide separates the Seoul park tickets from Magic Pass and nearby aquarium packages so you can buy only the experiences you plan to use.

Choose Lotte World tickets by arrival time first, then decide whether a ride add-on or another Jamsil attraction earns its extra cost.

Which Lotte World ticket should you buy?

For a first visit built around rides and shows, start with a 1 Day ticket. For an evening visit after another Seoul activity, compare After4. Add Magic Pass only when its current ride coverage matches your priorities and the additional price makes sense for each person.

This guide covers Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, Seoul. Lotte World Adventure Busan is a different park with different tickets. Within Jamsil, the aquarium and Seoul Sky observatory also require their own admission or an explicitly named package. A picture of the tower on a booking page does not establish what is included.

Traveling with children changes the calculation. Check the age category and the height or supervision rule for the rides they want before buying extras. Someone who cannot use the priority attractions gains little from a more expensive ride-access product.

How much do 1 Day and After4 tickets cost?

The official regular park-and-folk-museum prices checked on October 21, 2026 are listed below. These are reference rates, not a promise of the lowest available offer. Online promotions, eligible discounts and travel-platform options may produce different final prices.

  • 1 Day, park plus folk museum: adult ₩67,000; youth ₩58,000; child ₩50,000.

  • After4, park plus folk museum: adult ₩55,000; youth ₩47,000; child ₩39,000.

  • Park-only 1 Day: adult ₩64,000; youth ₩56,000; child ₩49,000.

  • Park-only After4: adult ₩52,000; youth ₩45,000; child ₩38,000.

Adults are 19 and over, youths 13–18, and children from 36 months through age 12. The current baby ride-use product is ₩17,000. Children under 36 months have different admission and ride-use rules, so bring age documentation and check the exact baby ticket rather than assuming every young child needs a regular child ticket.

The comprehensive product includes the folk museum, whose admission closes at 18:00 under the current price-page conditions. Paid games and separately charged facilities are excluded. The standard park-only product also has different discount conditions, so compare the actual available checkout options instead of subtracting museum value from a promotion.

Is After4 better value than a full-day ticket?

After4 means entry from 16:00, not four hours of access. Your usable time depends on that date’s closing time, last ride admission, queues and any operating restrictions. Look at the daily schedule before booking a timed evening, particularly if you have a dinner reservation or a long journey back to your hotel.

At the regular adult park-and-museum rates, After4 saves ₩12,000 compared with 1 Day. That is a useful reference, but a discounted full-day ticket can narrow or reverse the difference. Compare like-for-like offers for your actual date, age category and eligibility rather than treating the word “evening” as a guarantee of the cheapest price.

Choose 1 Day when rides are the main event

A full day gives you more room for queues, meals, shows and changes of plan. It is the stronger starting choice for a family whose energy drops before evening, or for a visitor who wants several rides across indoor Adventure and outdoor Magic Island. Do not assign every minute in advance; a theme park works better with a short priority list.

Choose After4 when a short evening is enough

After4 can suit a couple who wants the atmosphere, a show and a few selected rides, or a traveler already spending the morning elsewhere. Arrive ready for the entry process instead of beginning a leisurely transfer at 16:00. If one must-do ride determines the whole visit, check its operation first and accept that an ordinary ticket does not reserve it.

Is Magic Pass worth the extra price?

Magic Pass is a separate priority ride-access product. You still need valid park admission. The current official lineup consists of five-use products: Light ₩54,000, Standard A ₩65,000, Standard B ₩65,000 and Premium ₩80,000. The permitted ride selection differs, so a higher price or a familiar tier name is not enough to choose correctly.

Open the current tier attraction chart and mark the rides you truly want. Then check height restrictions, planned closures and whether everyone in the party intends to ride. The pass belongs to one person and cannot be shared among a group. Some popular attractions cannot be repeated with it, and separately charged or excluded experiences remain outside the benefit.

Consider the full cost: regular adult park-and-museum admission plus a Premium Magic Pass is ₩147,000 before meals or other extras. That is a price illustration using the two official regular rates, not a package offer. For a traveler content with a few rides and shows, the extra money may buy little practical value.

Check purchase timing before planning around it

The five-use products described above are sold through the Lotte World app. Premium advance sales open at 00:00 Korea time two days before use and run until 23:59 the day before; same-day sales for the tiers open at 08:30, subject to availability. Limited inventory means a ticket is not guaranteed.

Trip.com also lists a separately named Adventure admission bundle with a three-ride Magic Pass for non-Korean visitors. This is a different package from the app’s five-use tiers. Check its own ride list, exchange process and date availability, and avoid buying a second admission ticket if you already have one.

Confirm that you can complete the required account, verification and payment steps before relying on the add-on. We have not established that every overseas phone and payment method can complete that checkout. Avoid unofficial resellers: the operator warns that unauthorized sales can be canceled.

Priority access can still involve waiting, and weather, maintenance or ride closures can affect use. Read the current refund rules carefully; advance and same-day purchases have different deadlines, and using a ride changes refund eligibility. Admission and a separately purchased Magic Pass may also have different cancellation conditions.

Should you add the aquarium or Seoul Sky?

Lotte World Aquarium is a separate indoor attraction in the Jamsil complex. Its current regular admission is ₩37,000 for visitors aged 13 and over and ₩33,000 for children aged 36 months through 12. Compare any applicable offer with those reference rates and check age documentation requirements.

The aquarium’s official Aquarium plus Seoul Sky package currently costs ₩62,000 for the adult/youth category and ₩56,000 for the child/senior category. That package is for the aquarium and tower observatory. It does not add Lotte World Adventure theme-park admission. The current conditions require both included facilities to be used on the same day, with no partial refund after one has been used.

Pick a combination that fits your pace

  • Theme-park priority: buy park admission and give rides, shows and breaks the day. Add another attraction only if you still have time and energy.

  • Aquarium morning plus After4: a possible mixed day when you want a shorter park visit. Check the final total against other available bundles and leave transfer and meal time.

  • Aquarium plus Seoul Sky: a separate sightseeing day for travelers more interested in indoor exhibits and city views than amusement rides.

If a seller offers “Lotte World plus aquarium,” read the exact names, dates, redemption steps and whether both admissions must be used together. Do not infer the aquarium from a broad “Lotte World” label. Conversely, a tower-and-aquarium package is not a cheaper substitute for Adventure when rides are your goal.

How should you organize a Jamsil visit?

Choose one anchor: a full park day, an evening park visit, or an aquarium-and-observatory outing. Jamsil has enough nearby attractions to fill more than one day, but their proximity does not remove time spent walking between entrances, collecting tickets, eating and waiting in queues.

For a full park day, travel to Jamsil, complete any required ticket exchange and start with a small set of priorities. Keep a meal and rest period in the plan. Indoor Adventure is useful in poor weather, but the park also has outdoor rides whose operation can change; rain does not guarantee either a quiet park or a complete ride lineup.

For an aquarium-and-After4 day, visit the aquarium first, eat before the park entry period and allow a buffer for finding the correct gate. This sequence reduces the need to leave the park in the middle of the paid visit. If you do plan to exit and return, confirm the applicable re-entry rules with staff beforehand.

Autumn trees and apartment towers reflected in Seokchon Lake
Seokchon Lake offers an outdoor break near the Jamsil attractions. Autumn foliage is seasonal, and the lake walk is separate from paid park admission.[4]

Seokchon Lake is a useful nearby setting for a walk when weather and energy allow. Treat it as optional breathing room, not another appointment that must fit between paid attractions. The Seoul with kids itinerary suggests a more manageable overall pace for families.

Jamsil is served by Seoul subway Lines 2 and 8. Follow current station signs for your specific destination rather than assuming one exit suits the theme park, aquarium and observatory equally. Use the Seoul subway guide for fare and navigation basics, and allow extra time with a stroller or large bags.

What should you compare on a booking page?

  • Destination: Lotte World Adventure Seoul, not the Busan park or the tower alone.

  • Entry period: 1 Day or After4, with the correct date and age category.

  • Included facilities: park only, park and folk museum, aquarium, observatory or an explicitly named combination.

  • Redemption: direct entry or voucher exchange, required ID, valid barcode format and any counter deadline.

  • Final price: the amount you are eligible to pay after fees, currency conversion and optional extras.

  • Cancellation: the exact cutoff, unused-ticket rules and treatment of partially used combinations.

Keep the original confirmation accessible on your phone and follow its stated ticket method. The official comprehensive-ticket page says mobile screenshots are not accepted and refers to carrying the physical ticket; a third-party voucher may therefore need exchange rather than being a direct-entry image. Do not assume a saved screenshot replaces the seller’s instructions.

Buy only after checking the daily operation notice for your chosen date. A particularly good ticket discount is less useful if your priority ride is unavailable or the evening is shorter than expected. Our Seoul three-day itinerary can help you decide whether the park deserves a whole day in a short first visit.

Frequently asked questions

Does a Lotte World ticket include the aquarium?

Ordinary Adventure admission does not include the aquarium. Buy an explicitly named combination or a separate aquarium ticket, and check the dates and redemption instructions for each part.

Can I enter before 16:00 with After4?

After4 is valid for entry from 16:00. If you want to begin earlier, compare a 1 Day ticket. The closing time varies by the operating schedule rather than the ticket name.

Does Magic Pass replace my admission ticket?

No. It is an additional ride-access product for a visitor with valid park admission. Check the current tier chart because the included ride selection differs between products.

Do children under three need a ticket?

The operator separates free park entry from paid baby ride use. Visitors aged 12 to under 36 months generally enter free outside group admission but need the applicable baby product for baby rides. Bring proof of age and check the current conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is After4 cheaper than a 1 Day Lotte World ticket?

Does Magic Pass include Lotte World admission?

No. Magic Pass is an additional ride-access product and requires separate valid park admission. Current five-use tiers range from ₩54,000 to ₩80,000, with different attraction coverage.

Does the Aquarium plus Seoul Sky package include the theme park?

No. It covers the aquarium and tower observatory, not Lotte World Adventure. Its current conditions require same-day use of both facilities and do not allow a partial refund after one is used.

Is this guide for Lotte World Seoul or Busan?

This guide is for Lotte World Adventure in Jamsil, Seoul. Lotte World Adventure Busan is a separate park with different admission products and prices.
